Dragon Ball began as a manga series on Shonen Jump in Japan in 1984, later collected chapters into volumes in 1985, and the anime version started in 1986 with scenes not in the manga. Then there came the Dragon Ball Z anime later in the year 1989, followed by Dragon Ball GT in 1996. Dragon Ball spanned 42 manga volumes (16 DB + 26 DBZ), and 34 Japanese Perfect volumes. Dragon Ball GT ended in 1997.
Does anybody remember watching Dragon Ball and DBZ back in the days? It was on Cartoon Network, and it still is with the uncut version of DBZ that is still worse compared to the awesome Japanese version.

I have only watched the first 69 original Dragonball episodes, and I still need to watch 83 more original episodes before I can get back into DBZ, I'm just catching up on how the story is originally followed like what Japan did before.
